Overview

COM evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum via the adopted Assurance of Learning (AoL) Process. Four learning goals set up based on its aim of nurturing student competencies: (1) Problem solving (2) Communication (3) Ethics; and (4) International awareness. While the undergraduate AoL process has been in effect since Fall 2019, the graduate programs have lagged behind. The competency goals (CG) for the MS/ MBA have been set since this year and the competency skills will be assessed for the first time in Fall 2021. The undergraduate AoL timeline has the COM ‘closing the loop’ every two years (first loop of capstone professional courses closed in May 2021) as well as the graduate AoL timeline.
